Crash Course Navigating Digital Information

Crash Course* partnered with the Poynter Institute for Media Studies* and the Stanford History Education Group* to create a 10-video course entitled Navigating Digital Information. You can go to the course page, or watch the videos embedded below.

The course isn't geared primarily to academic research (for instance, episode 4 talks about editorial controls, but doesn't discuss peer-review), but the principles frequently apply well to both academic and non-academic contexts.

*Good practice at lateral reading might involve looking up what others have to say about the groups behind these videos to get some context on them before you watch.
