Locating Current Statistics
While journal articles and books are great places to find statistics and data relating to specific studies and research that is being conducted, it can also be helpful to find current numbers to complement those research sources. You'll find links to various resources below: government, independent researchers and more!
Dugan Library is able to provide you with a statistical database available through the State Library of Kansas for all residents (this includes students registered at Kansas colleges). This great resource has a broad array of statistical data and tools for researchers at all levels. There are seventeen subject areas covered and very robust search tools are available.

Common Core of Data (CCD)
is a program of the U.S. Department of Education's National Center for Education Statistics that annually collects fiscal and non-fiscal data about all public schools, public school districts and state education agencies in the United States.
ED Data Express
ED Data Express is a Web site designed to improve the public's ability to access and explore high-value state-level education data collected by the U.S. Department of Education. The site is designed to be interactive and to present the data in a clear, easy-to-use manner, with options to download information into Excel or manipulate the data within the Web site.
IDEA Data Center
The IDEA Data Center focuses on data requirements under Sections 616 and 618 of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, including data focused on programs for infants, toddlers, and their families (Part C) and on programs serving children ages 3 through 21 (Part B).
