Criticism of literary works are available in many different formats: books, reference books, eBooks, journal articles, and more!  Dugan Library offers all of these formats.  If you have trouble finding an author or a work by an author, please ask one of our librarians.  We would love to help you!



You'll find books that:

  • focus on a particular author or even a specific work by an author,
  • collections of genre criticism (women's, sci-fi, time-periods, etc.)
  • biographies
  • are about how to critique literature
  • and more!
  • some are in print and some will be found in the library databases
