One Button Studio is designed to record as a single take, so you will likely want to edit your video after you record. If you make errors while recording, just repeat the line/section and cut out the mistake in the edit. See below for instructions on downloading your video and editing it.
After you scan the QR code and enter your email, you will be sent a link to your recording hosted on Vimeo. It is important that you download your video (even if you don't plan to edit it), because the Vimeo files are not under your control and should not serve as the final storage location of your video.
Note: It can take some time for the video to process before being uploaded, so if your link does not initially work, try again later.
Once you have downloaded your original recording, there are a wide variety of video editing tools that you can use to clean up your video or add additional effects. Below are some recommendations for free (either through Newman or open source) tools that you might consider.
New to video editing? Clipchamp is a very beginner friendly video editor from Microsoft. It may already be downloaded onto your computer if you are a Windows user.
Clipchamp is available to members of the Newman community through your Microsoft 365 account. The program is available either as a freestanding program or as a browser app when you login to Microsoft 365 and going to apps on the left side menu then selecting all apps.
OpenShot is an open source video editing platform. It is a slightly more complicated program that Clipchamp, but may offer tools for more advanced tasks. Available at www.openshot.org.
